Necromancers were once believed to be a joke class….an afterthought…one of the worst classes in the game.

They are now probably the 2nd or 3rd strongest class in the game, definitely up there with Warriors, Mesmers, and Thieves now…

if you’re the coward abandoning your ranger at the moment, or if your the shield trying to block out all the nerf hammer blows and keep going

just know, that we may too get the update that will put us with those among the stars

and you will be glad you didn’t delete that character after you jumped ship

and you will be glad you didn’t jump ship and you stayed true to your ranger the entire time

Beautiful, but in the meantime many of us are f***ed (luckyly not me, I wasn’t a BM Bunker).

I will always wait until the ranger receives it’s due. I will never abandon the class, even if it seems it already has been. I will trek through a community that does not want my class around just to show that there are people who will wait as long as it takes. We just all hope that we are not left out to dry too much longer.

We’ve already taken many hits and many have already left our numbers or left the game entirely. Let the rest of us remain to show ANet that we truly do love the class, despite what love we have not been shown in return.

Thing is we have some darn powerful builds right now, as we speak rangers are steamrolling players and dominating 1vX.

All day yesterday I did not lose a 1v1 and I spent hours going up against each and every build one by one they died. 1v2 I liked my chances but against good players I had to get away or find water.

same here. havent lost a singel 1on1 or 1on2 since the patch

I will wait along side you. I am another “Die hard” ranger as well. I may face some bad or harsh criticism I might see in dungeon parties but so be it. We will prove that rangers are not just “rare and useless like a pile of putrid essence.”

A sentence comes into mind. “The heart may be weak, and sometimes give in. But deep down there’s a light that never goes out.”

The necros have fanboys complaining about how underpowered they are at sotg every month to Jonathan and other devs. A luxury that the ranger players don’t have.

Also the necros have devs who want the best for their class. We Rangers don’t have devs, and if we do, they all want us to fail no matter what. (not only they nerfed our core, they aggressively with great effort nerfed our pets core as well).

They will do everything and anything within their power to remove that light in the tunnel for this class.

That is their true purpose.

Nothing much else.

There is light at the end of the tunnel. It’s source: a train.

But I’m keeping my ranger just in case ANet decides to stop sitting on their hands when it comes to positive changes with it. Like hell I’m gonna waste the hours and gold spent making her look good and feel as powerful as possible pre-patch. I’m simply using a dinghy to get away from the ship. I never said I was gonna sink (read: delete) it.

You don’t have to delete your character to try something else, that’s why we have 5 character slots.

Also, the only thing that should drive how you play is fun. If you are having fun then great. If you are not having fun then try something else.

The idea that someone would be loyal to a class or game that is not fun is very odd to me.

It’s hard to be optimistic about reaching a goal when one step forward is followed by two steps backwards.

BM bunker didn’t really get nerfed that hard either.

im not sad, because pets was allways dead wights, except in the first 2 weeks. i like the skin of the sylvari hound

At least GW1 Rangers could go dual profession and be somewhat useful by imitating another class. We don’t even have that luxury.

I stopped PvPing on my ranger because I got sick of everyone and their grandma going 1v8 on me in hot joins or 1v3 on me in tournies -_-’

Yeah, we aren’t in a bad place, some builds became viable that just, wreck people, for example Condi Pet + DD ranger = GG

Bad players are bad; regardless of what profession you’re using to stomp them.

You are kidding mate…. no dev plays Necro… none.

At least you have Robert Hrouda (spelling?)… Necros have begged for attention and bug fixes since beta.

Necro downed health was 1/3 of other classes since beta and only just got fixed. Now i can stay in downed state more than half a second – it’s amazing.

You are way off the mark with those comments.
