Currently: Evade back with a crack of lightning, dealing damage and gaining vigor.
Damage: 244
Vigor: 10sec
Evade 3/4 sec

Personally, the damage on it doesn’t make sense, given that LR doesn’t have a radius or range for it yet.
Something that might be a little more beneficial (or not. just tossing out an idea) would be an addition along the lines of:

Roll back with a crack of lightning, blinding nearby foes and gaining vigor. Evade melee attacks and projectiles for 8 seconds.
Blind: 5 sec

Radius: 240
Vigor: 10 sec
Range: 600
Evasion duration: 8 seconds
Evasion chance: 33%

Okay. The evasion is what I had in mind and it kinda fits the description of Lightning Reflexes.
Is the 33% chance to evade too much? should it be a 25%chance to evade melee and projectiles? Does it sound like too strong of a change?
Or what would you propose for it? Do you like how the skill currently functions??

I prefer it broke Immob, Chill, and Cripple then just call it a day. It’s already a fantastic utility.

I don’t know if I like the whole ‘chance to evade’ thing. Something like evasion is a life-or-death kind of thing, and I don’t like the idea of leaving something like that to chance. On one hand, you could theoretically dodge every hit in a warrior’s 100 blades, negating a huge amount of damage. But you’re just as likely to have 8 seconds of dodge nothing at all, leaving the skill weaker than it already is. I agree with the above posters in that Lightning Reflexes is already an awesome skill, but breaking immobility would be a brilliant change in my opinion ^^

Yeah, I was also thinking that it should break immob, chill and cripple, but i tried to come up with something that revolved around the evade + the description, but that’s just me :/

however I would be happy if it was changed to include a distance icon and break immob, chill and cripple. Im not sure about the damage on it.

I actually would love if they removed the damage and gave it the immob, chill, cripple break. On more than one occasion, I’ve broken my longbow stealth prematurely by hitting lightning reflexes to get out of a random CC or something.

ranger should get more blindness so +1 for that idea
i would love to see LR gets a real stunbreaker which triggers instantly

8s evasion? what about a 10s cd for dat skill?!
and immunity to conditions and survives all allys in 900 range!

I don’t see any problem with the damage personally. It gives it a unique flavor compared to some other similar skills. And I don’t see why it would need to lose damage to clear CC.

And Blind seems redundant on a skill that evades already.

what you suggested is too strong, and passive dodges isn’t something that gw2 would do.
honestly the problem is that it doesn’t clear movement impairing effects (immob/cripple/chill) and that it gets on a 1/2 sec cd when being CC’d.
