Switched build and have no transtone so I have to put my ebon vanguard shortbow in the bank.

As you may or may not know, the ebon vanguard shortbow has the same length as other longbows.

Question is, are there any other shortbows that look like a longbow?

I personally hate the short length of most shortbows. They look like some homemade shortbow out of toothpicks.

I know the corrupted shortbow and pirate needler are both of longbow length.

Personally I run with the slingshot skin though

Pirate Needler is not only a long-ish skin, but it also looks freakin’ sweet.

I’m using the Pirate Needler, a short bow that has the same skin as the long bow of the same set.

You can get it at the end of the pirate ghost jumping puzzle in LA, there’s a vendor that sells pirate-themed weapons for a bit of karma.

It’s also one of the best skins for bows, IMO.

I think there’s some other bows that have the same skin for both types, this is the only one I know.

There’s a few out there, but not many.

I run super long and super short bows myself.

Passed my brony bow over to my thief where it actually sees use.

I do have an Aether and as far as Im concerned it has the same length as Azureflame, which is a longbow.

That root thingy from TA dungeon and it’s overpriced variant on TP are also fairly long.
Tbh, if you want bigger weapons by default, rescale your character to smaller one. Doesn’t really work with Asura, since they’re rats anyway, but smaller Norn will have same big weapons as bigger Norn. Sizes don’t scale, but rescalling model will make them more accurate. Beware of ground-clipping issues for some swords tho!

If you want something simple, a Krytan shortbow is actually pretty moderate in size. I am in your boat-ish, as I find half the shortbows to be near unusable as something else than toys given their size.

Oh and yes. The weapons for Norn seem made for max size so the longer onehanders pretty much always clip when sheathed if you fiddle with the height.

The Ebonhawk bows are the same skin.

I love the shortbow but skins sucks, the only one i like is mystic skin or CoE skin which is the same just red lightning on it. The legendary tho it have ponies, well is nice skin and have a decent size (doesnt look small), the best shortbow IMO is probably rox skin and that is the one i am using. For my thief which i am currently using lately i think im going to get the dreamer because my ranger have rox bow and i love that skin, dont want to lose it, plus shortbow is better on thief anyway.

Ebonhawk shortbow is also great, like that one and have a good size, the shortbow.

The aether skins shortbow seem nice but i dont know, i haven’t get them. Longbow is good too. Is sad that this game dont have many skin variations and the few only good ones are bought with gems. One of the things i loved about games like DCUO was that is easy to change skins and stuff and i like customization and such, GW2 need many more skins in game and other stuff :P

This one, is it ingame or just datamining? One of the IG links has got a sigil ingame. It could be a personal story reward or something like this, but i don´t know.

arent there any longbow skins that look like a real recurve bow? cause al skins are so lame..

the link give me all shortbow skins but if you are refering to mystic shortbow that is made in the mystic forge, i think the cost must be around 15-20 gold, cheap this days i suppose. I like the skin, one of the only few i do like lol

You can also get the same mystic SB skin with CoE dungeon badges, only difference is mystic SB have a blue lightning kind of effect and the dungeon one is red. You can probably get the dungeon one cheaper with just a few runs and earn some gold in the process

Nope, i don´t mean this. I mean the “Tribal Longbow” as a shortbow.
Look at argos.soft under shortbows, there is 1 shortbow with this skin.
