I play a lot on my other toons now. Recently made an ele and engi so… yeah. I’ll be spending even LESS time on my Ranger than I already am. Those elemental weapons are sweet.
Judging by your posts, you’ve been away since Oct 15 patch (my god I’m being stalky).
Hmmm… So you missed Nov 26 and Dec 10 patches.

- Underwater spirits nerfed (reduced hp)
- Lots of tooltip/skillfact fixes

- Longbow autoattack dmg (less penalty when attacking from shorter ranges)
- Moment of clarity (increased stun/daze/fear duration to 100%)
- Bark Skin (50% dmg reduction, empathic bond is still better)
- Strength of Spirit (conversion from vitality to power is 7% now)
- Spirit Unbound and Nature’s Vengeance switched places in the traitlines (only require 20pts for spirit to move now)
- Two-handed training (50% chance to gain 3s fury on hit, 10s cooldown)
- Mighty Swap (3 stacks of might applies to both pets and player now)
Nerfs
- Natural Vigor (50% endurance regen reduced to 25%)
- Sun Spirit (3s burn reduced to 2s)
- Storm Spirit (active lightning damage reduced by 33%)
YOU MISSED OUT THE BUG WHERE EAGLE EYE TRAIT GRANTED PERMA FURY TO LONGBOW RANGERS THAT MADE THEM VIABLE – fixed/nerfed (very quickly)

Yeah it seems like they’re still fixated on silly band-aid fixes instead of admitting to themselves they need to seriously reconsider their design philosophy for the class (or lack-there-of).
