I’ll try here first, and move to PHP if I don’t have a lot of luck.

I used to use a steam-looking composite longbow. I liked the look and it matched my armor colors well. The new ambrite has a lot of the same colors, so I tried that, and it looks great, but when I used skill #3, and I hide, the bow doesn’t?

I could have ‘sworn’ that the old composite bow hid with me.

Is it supposed to hide?

Maybe a graphical bug on your client side, but in game you’ll be invisible, including your bow.

It goes invisible with you. my backpiece is usually completely visible when i stealth as well :P

I could have sworn I was with that composite steam bow one I used to use. The ambrite one doesn’t hide. Possibly a bug with that bow?

Probably, sometimes Anet forget to make the stealth skin when releasing a new skin and sometimes bugging when you stealth, but that doesn’t change how the enemy “see” you.
Like the radiant gear, when you get stealth the particle effect get all bugged because those textures where not created in the stealth condition.
If you can reproduce that bug, send a report to Anet and soon or later that get solved.
