Hey can any1 tell me if there is a longbow skin that is recurved and looks like a real bow, similar to the starter longbow but maybe a different color or perhaps a bit more design?

Eir’s Longbow is my personal favorite. Not only does it have Berserker stats (best stats for rangers), but it also has a beautiful skin that looks good without looking like some bizarre, over-the-top, overly flashy object that’s supposed to resemble a bow. It also sounds like it’s what you’re looking for.

Yea I want that one as well, was hoping for more of like a plain one but that is the next best thing. Too bad people are overpricing atm, Im planning on buying one for 6.5g if I can find it.

You could always buy one with the stats you want and just transmute the appearance with the plain skin from some low level bow. =P

Beware of the in-game preview mode, as well as screenshots of bows online which use the preview screen (character screen), because they don’t show all parts of the bow.
The Warden longbow is a good example of this:

The blue fins won’t show up in preview mode.
Also, the Priory Historical longbow has that preview problem:

I had the same problem m8, atm i’m using eir’s longbow…it’s quite realistic and i love the skin.
We even have (bad looking) compound bows…http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/File:Steam_Bow.jpg
Sadly most bows look terribad, like the vigil or the destroyer, or the legendary ones…shiny skins with “c00l” effects but they don’t even look like bows. The vigil one has blades, not limbs.
Oh and the kudzu is even bugged or something…just look at the string, it doesn’t reach the string nock/bow tip:

I actually saw the bow I wanted, simple skin from avengers bows from lvl 10 and 772 or 73 story quest rewards. Otherwise known as Droknar’s Recurve, its actually just that, a sleek looking recurve, very sexy and I plan on using it.
