Looking for Beast Master build WvW
I think this is the build you’re after.

I currently run such a build, similar to the link, I got the idea off a video. Since it’s pretty much covered already, I just want to mention a few things about using it in WvW:
1. Really good stealth abusing burst thieves will down you. Don’t go at them thinking you will outlast them. Avoid them in 1v1 situations.
2. While the build is bunkiery as all heck, it doesn’t have any burst. This can lead you to being held up in a fight til others arrive, either to aid you or your opponent.
3. The build is fine and even excellent for flipping camps and general roaming.
I use axe/warhorn with shortbow on swap for cripple/stun. Longbow for defending towers.
smack..Wut?…smack…smack…
I’m using this build I made based on a few other builds I found on here.

I swapped to Greatsword instead of S/Wh to get a bit more burst as it’s still lacking in damage. I originally ran condi bunker but found it pretty unsuccessful, this is proving to be stronger. Really lacks in condition removal though…
Was thinking about using Knight’s armor and Berserker weapons to try squeeze some crits out of it, as I get might up all the time from runes/sigils (& horn out of combat)
Hopefully someone can comment on any improvements to this, it’s really the first build I worked out myself..

The build will hold its own against stealth thieves if you are good at timing dodges. The sword is your best friend in such a fight since it allows you to bounce around quite a distance in a short time while they are getting into a position to burst you.
Your other two points are spot on though. Take the good with the bad :P

Still running my old RRR build because why not
