I’ve been looking for an updated guide on BM build but I haven’t been able to see anyone (I even looked for Xsorus’s builds, but they’re also too old.). I’d like to be kinda tanky, focusing on boons and my pets I guess; I’m a “little bit” noobie with the ranger :P

Well, I won’t give you a specific build, but I will say that having at least 3 in Nature magic is a great place to start. Don’t leave home without it sorta thing. This one trait passes enormous amounts of power to your pet. After that, you need to decide if you want to kill things with conditions, power, melee, or range. There are many options.

Dagger instead of warhorn is acceptable, if you arent Sylvari, use RaO (its probably better regardless, but its just too fun running around with 3 pets)

Hm I was actually looking for something more related with BM traits and some more health, cos 3.2k armor is pretty nice but 16k hp… meh xD Thanks tho!

The thing is I dont know which way to go.. I’d like to use S/D and… maybe shortbow or GS? No idea tbh. No idea about what stats. I guess I’ll have to try out some of the old sPvP builds if there’s no one here xD

It’s by no means set in stone or even tried and tested, but the idea is really full melee, high mobility, high survivability and a ton of might stacking (which of course is shared with your pet). You personally should have 15ish might stacks throughout the fight. You pet will have fewer most likely, because you’re constantly swapping it out, but with RaO you can get it to 25 easily, and I did try taking 10 into skirmishing instead of WS for the pet gain might on Crits, which will increase your pets Might hugely.

Seems to work pretty well, not withstanding my inexperience with melee builds and the fact I havent played much in ages :P
