What are your guys choices for builds right now traps? spirits?

The most popular build (right now) is probably the spirit build. But I prefer my super glassy berserker ranger. It’s nice for team fights, but pretty meh in 1v1s.

Traps are probably still just as effective, but with how popular necros have become, people often run several forms of condition removal.

This is the tPvP build I’m running atm. It’s pretty similar to one discussed ~week or so ago on here, and uses spirits to dish out burning and protection. Works well and honestly the only downside is extreme condi pressure(think multiple necros etc).

It’s VERY effective 1v1 and can hold it’s own 1vX(usually no more than 2, otherwise it’s just a waiting game until you die). Team fights…it’s even better as the burning + protection = super nice utility.

The spirit build is the most common and viable option for tPvP at the moment. The most common variations of that are sword/dagger axe/torch (or A/D S/T) and a greatsword/longbow ranger, meant more for decapping a point than killing the people on the point.

Spirits is the FotM build, nice team support and some nasty condition damage.

I’m messing around with Sharpening Edges (got buffed to 2 sec bleed recently), bleed on crit with no internal cooldown is delicious.

The Spirit Build is considered the best in high level competition right now, and is the one you’ll probably see the most of in this weekends MistLeague NA qualifiers.

Storm Spirit is mainly being used for its active (which averages around 3k damage and can crit). However, some players have been dropping Storm Spirit for Signet of Renewal, depending on the enemies team composition/personal preference.
