Hey all,

I’ve become pretty comfortable with the build I’m running for free tournaments. It’s a trap build with little mobility but pretty good at holding down points.

Now that I’ve amassed a decent quantity of items from free tourneys, and my character looks basically as good as it’s going to, I want to start focusing on ranking up faster.

In my experience, the best way to rank up faster is by playing pickup non-tourney games. However, my current build isn’t very well suited for that. First, it mostly relies on me starting the fight at an advantage (them running over my traps). I tend to flounder when I have to run up on someone else. Secondly, I have little mobility with this build apart from double casting sword 2 as I’m running 3 traps which deprives me of signet of the hunt.

So, I’m looking for a good skirmishing build in spvp that is made for maximizing point gain. I think some things I need are: mobility (for getting to fights) and damage (for killing people) as from what I’ve seen you get the most glory from killing people rather than sitting on nodes.

Any suggestions for a pickup Spvp build?
