Anyone notice that the drop rate on loot for short bow is extremely poor? When i use it, i find that the loot drop rate is about half of the long bow. Highly noticeable when doing mel 2nd beacon.

There is no way that roll tables are correlated to equipped weapon.

This sounds to me like you are better at tagging with a longbow, probably because of Barrage.

If you’re playing in team. The loot could be dependent on your damage to the creature. Shortbow damage is more condition based and so much slower.

Lol I wouldn’t put it past anet to have luck be proximity based…stranger things have happened.

Shortbow damage is very low. You probably aren’t doing enough to trigger a mob tag before the mobs die. Do you experience the same loot discrepancy when in a party or soloing monsters that are not part of an event with tons of people around?
