WTF?? I just came across this note on the gw2 wiki page for Call of the Wild (the warhorn buff)…
’Notes
If three or more rangers use the skill at the same time, a Lunar Wolf is summoned.1 This is a reference to the Three Wolf Moon T-shirt and meme.

I have never seen or heard of this, but it’s a pretty awesome add by Arenanet. Apparently it doesn’t fight, it just rocks. Has anyone here summoned the Lunar Wolf before? I imagine it might happen fairly frequently in WvW, maybe I just never noticed.
Not long ago there was even topic on this forum to let us tame it…
I guess I missed that topic, I haven’t really been in the Ranger forums much over the past couple of weeks. I hope I see it at some point, anyway.
Its on youtube.
Yea we did it a couple times in LA at Mystic Forge and drew quite the audience about a month ago. We could keep it alive fairly long by using spirit of nature ellite to keep it healed while he takes damage before dying.

We found that three healing springs was enough to keep it alive for its duration.
Granted, that was with a stationary wolf.

We had two ranger groups summon Lunar Wolf at the same time and assign a bunch of guys to the task of keeping them alive through water fields. However, since they ran around a bunch this meant mayhem in the general area in front of the bank.
Seeing 20 people chasing a misty wolf around spamming leap finishers through water fields for seemingly no reason drew a pretty big crowd as well. Kept one alive for a couple minutes or however long it was before the wolf walked into stair geometry and disappeared.
But yeah, this is a really neat trick. Had lots of fun with it.
