Guild Wars 2

So far I’ve been doing LB/GS speccing into LB and it’s gotten quite stale, specifically the GS. So I was wondering how a MH Sword build will work with what offhand. Should I go power or condi? What traits should be used: focus all on LB still or distribute it up?

And this is generally for PvE.

Should definitely be power if it’s pve and you are bringing longbow. Try axe for offhand, has a nice burst.

Sword/Axe is going to give you better damage than GS would anyway, most of the time.
Offhand warhorn can be nice if your team is lacking in fury, swiftness, or blast finishers. Offhand dagger excels in PvP but I find it has few uses in PvE aside from an extra dodge that you’ll rarely need.

This is what i use for general pve stuffs. i run full zerker with ranger runes so its pretty much full glass but you’ll be using longbow most of the time so its not much of an issue. for your second pet you’ll want a utility like a moa for fury, spider for ranged, drake for cleave, whatever you need at the time. you could also switch the stalker for a jaguar if you want. honestly i don’t use the sword a whole lot, though you can if you want its just more difficult. bind a key to ‘about face’ though so you can use the 2 skill to travel easier.
