I want a Hermit Crab pet so bad!
They’d be an awesome alternative to bear as a tank pet. Maybe just a bit less HP because they would have regen and blocking too.

So what say you?
In your adventures in Tyria have you come across a mob you wish you could utilize as a Ranger pet?

And could we please get a reskin on the ranger spirits. Seriously….frosty, watery and firey….oakhearts?

The dolphin underwater versions are soooo much better.
I don’t know what would be as cool as dolphin for the land version though.

My suggestions are
1. Blighted Skale or Skelk?
– Withdraw : Stealth for 3 seconds and remove all conditions. 40 cd
- Bite 8 cd
- Wild Strike : slash twice 20 cd
Unique f2 skill – Sneak Attack : Shadow Step to your opponent and blind them for 3 seonds. 30 cooldowns.

2. Dolphin (Aquatic)
– body slam 20 cd knock back effect
- Poke 1/2 cd.
- Playful Trickster : 20 cool down, evade all attacks for 2 seconds.
Unique f2 skill : grants buff, increase swimming speed and to nearby allies?

3. Dolyak
- Headbutt : 8 cd.
- Think Skin: 1/2 cd. passively increase Toughness and Vitality to you and itself.
- Harmonic Cry: Regen itself, 40 cd.
Unique F2 skill : Charge knock them down. 30 cd.

4. Griffon
- Frenzy Attack : 8 cd
- Scratch: multiple times. 20 cd.
- Fury Strike : bleeds 30 cd.
special skill f2 : swoosh, attacks from above, while flying.

5. Jungle Raptor

That’s all I could think of. :s

What I really miss is hunting down rares like in WoW. All you have to do here to get a pet is check the wiki, TP to location and tame.

I’d love a long, challenging quest to find and subdue an exquisite beast, one that only the most persistent of Rangers can accomplish. Give us a superquest for Legendary pets!
