Master Bond
I agree..the bond should be on the master and not the pet allowing for pet swaps and water pets to benefit
Amphibious pets should retain the bond when moving from land to water or vise versa. It’s completely logical. If the pet doesn’t change, the bond should not drop.
As far as retaining it on pet swap, I’d much rather see them fix our pet’s problems with squishiness, aoe avoidance, and not being able to reliably hit targets first. I could see where they could be OP if they didn’t die so often, hit targets really well and maintained stacks after swap.
Of course who knows if/when they will ever fix pets.

yes, this would make the trait actually worth taking.
Try your best to not make mistakes, but, when you do make mistakes, learn from them.

Aye, and that’s exactly why it won’t happen.

I don’t follow your logic, but okay.
The reason I’d see it not happening for a while is an insufficient number of developers to turn out class fixes quicker, it being replaced, or an alternative fix being implemented.

The traits a relic of when the Sigils used to go away on swap as well… However the only problem is that it’s going to need a change to the way the skill works because unlike the sigils that buff that stay on one mob (you), but when you swap pets you swap the mob itself, which is why they lose boons and that…
They would need to either make it so masters bond now is a buff on the ranger that increases their “Beast Mastery” stat and would be lost on downed of the ranger.
Or do one of the suggestions i saw earlier where the ranger and the pet share stats (IE your pets stats are just added to the rangers stats and they share a healthbar, damage taken, and all boons).
Essentially, they’ll just need to make it locked onto the ranger, i don’t think they have the tech to make it on the pet and stay on the pet unless the ranger is the source of the buff.
As their mother, I have to grant them their wish. – Forever Fyonna

Sorry, that was an atempt at some irony
