Master's bond / zephyr's speed :: June 2013
It’s still a very iffy combo. Master’s bond goes away when the new adept minor trait kicks in, so it won’t benefit from it Master’s bond needs to be reworked.

The entire class is still about switching pets every 20s. because they don’t recover during battle, so they die at 21s. you have to kill 25 people to get master’s bond to full, unless you can kill someone every .66s its a waste of a trait.

It’s pretty easy to get kills like that in wvw. You could spend 5 minutes farming wolves/raptors if you want. A lot of people do that to stack bloodlust, it’s basically the same thing. It’s a celestial sigil for your pet, basically. Each stack grants 10% of the pets base level to all stats if I remember right. So ya it’s best for pve/wvw, probably. Unless you can somehow use it to pressure points in spvp, although I haven’t tried.
Jub, my man, which adept trait is that? I know stacks are lost when you go into water…besides that afaik the only drawback is not being able to swap because that action also clears the stacks.
Anyways, there might be better options, but this is one of those things that snowballs. I love games where you can gain strength over time. It has potential.

Oops, my bad, I thought you were talking about Instinctual Bond (the new BM adept minor trait).
The bonus is nice and pets need all the stats they can get, but it just feels like it goes away too quickly
The only time I used it was when I’m sure that I won’t get into too much trouble like when I was farming Sparks in Malchor’s Leap or farming Risen in Straights of Devastation.
Although I will agree that it has potential. It might work for a tanky build in sPvP.
