Guild Wars 2

So I might be nitpicking here, but apparently druid’s staff uses the same idle as revenant and daredevil’s staff. I dont mind this pose in itself, but I figured this was a way to distinguish melee from ranged staves. Shouldn’t druid’s staff use the regular staff idle as eles, mesmers, etc? Since it’s definitely a caster type of staff. It would also help a lot to tell staff combat styles apart

I’m guessing they chose that particular idle animation / stance because the auto-attack for Druid Staff is a two-handed laser blast rather than the usual “wave my hand around while holding the staff in the other” type AA casting staffs usually have. It makes sense that for a two-handed auto-attack, Druids would be holding the staff in two hands all the time.
