There isn’t. Developers think it’s a powerful trait. Probably because it scales with Fortifying Bond (boons shared with your pet which, frankly, none of us have idea why don’t they baseline baseline)
The trait is garbage. Don’t use it. The design is just plain horrible.

They aren’t far from being viable. I, for example found a nice use for them. As bombs.
Since they provide their benefits for 13 seconds after death, it’s not such a bad thing to simple keep sacrificing them.
But that means the design is horrible almost just as much as my manners. They simply don’t exist for the passives anymore (except Frost for PvE) and their actives take 1-5 seconds to complete.
If the spirits had their actives as baseline and they would provide stationary aura of the spirits now (means using the active would spawn the spirit outright) – we’d experience a nice era of viable useful and user-friendly spirits.
Now? They are just user-unfriendly and clunky as hell.
I didn’t even like it when it was an Adept trait. But nope, Anet thinks it’s Grandmaster tier.
However, don’t worry about it. Traits only change once every 3 years tops and that based on 0 feedback from the players.
It’s not useless but if you have to chose between this and quickdraw…

So another one to the stealth-nerf list. Awesome. They really know how to make people play their game.
Yes, the trait is bad. Was bad as an adept and worse as a grandmaster. Only synergy is has is with Bountiful Hunter/NM, but outside of that, no strong synergy to speak of.
Only the overly naive theory-crafters with their “let’s fight under 50% with all 3 traits and might runes” like this sort of garbage. Because a bunch of traits procing under a health threshold is totally “synergy.” /s
