And I love that terrifying ugly batface staring at you every time you’re downed and have pet rezzing you.

It’s also great to run dungeons with PUGs, have it run over to heal one of them that is downed, and wait for that almost inevitable “THE HELL IS THAT?!”

I’m trying to imagine mine licking my ranger’s face every morning to wake him up.

Every time I’m running around with that ugly thing I feel like Animal Control is going to show up and accuse me of starving and beating it. But it’s so pitifully ugly it’s kinda cute!

I personally haven’t found a tameable one yet =( but i really want one because i could roam all the lands with him! He looks so snuggly and warm and also terrifyiing all at the same time!! PERFECT COMBINATION! i’ll probably name mine steve… Yeaaaaah…. steve the Murrellow, reaper of souls…

You can find a tamable one in some Skritt cave in Brisban Wildlands and a few other places I can’t recall.

So ugly they’re cute…a face only a ranger could love. Mine’s named “great personality”. Pretty darn tanky, solid dps and poison cloud combo field…looks aren’t everything!

I run with a Murellow as my main pet in PvE and WvW. I will swap out to the Plant dog (named Kindling) if the situation calls for it, but other than that I am always running the my Murellow: “Naked Rat Bear Dog”.

Afterthought: A buddy I run with is also a ranger and mainly uses his Murellow: “Precious”.

Love mine as well, main leveling pet. Named mine Prince Charming.

I named my Murellow Achilles. It’s actually very fitting.

Mine is named Ugly (seems most rangers noticed it) and it’s best PvE pet I have. To be hones only thing that would make more kitten then SB nerf would be if they changed anything about this pet (I guess dmg buff I could live with:)).

Although I’ve gotten my darling Ranger to lvl 80 and getting ready to shelve her because of obvious reasons, my Murellow is aptly names Ginger, after my Australian Shepherd.
They both blow a cloud of poisonous gas!! LOL

Are you on Sorrow’s Furnace? I’ve been running the name Marshmurellow for 4-5weeks now, haven’t seen any others on my server

I LOVE the murellow, excellent balance between damage and tank, and helps to keep poison on enemies.

After the shortbow nerf though, I find myself running RaO with a jaguar for high crit damage, and a Bear for tank and condition removal (great for dungeons)… So, sadly, the SB nerf has made me shelve my absolute most favorite pet in the game. If I didn’t have to switch to super squishy for high crit dmg I wouldn’t absolutely need cond. removal and there’s no way in hell I’d be using the bear.

Tarnished Coast, actually. Its funny to see that the name can conjure marshmellow on more then just one server.

Mine’s “Mr Giggles”

I agree Murellows are one of the best pets. I combine it with a brown bear = max tanking while i stand back. His name is Tom (as in Tom Morello from Rage Against The Machine) which i thought was both hilarious and genius

I named mine Cuddles. Because, well, he’s just so cuddly. =) As for the pet that makes you go “wtf is that”, the Murellow tops that list, but I think the Siamoth comes in a close second. In fact when I found and tamed a Siamoth I had to name him “wtf is that”.
