It’s been a fun 3 weeks guys, but I don’t feel like I’m contributing much to my dungeon runs on my ranger.

I can barely kill silver trash mobs by self anymore ever since the “Animation bug resolve” which is not to say I can’t, I still can, but it takes a longer time.

So I’ve decided to unshelve my thief and now that I’ve gotten him geared up with a shortbow… It’s kinda silly how I crit close to 1500 damage across 4 targets >.> compared to my rangers 800.

I mean sure the attack speed on the thief shortbow is slower and the range is shorter but the bouncing arrows effect makes up for the lowered speed especially in a big mob.

So i heard a lot of warriors are complaining about backstab coz they cant dodge :|

I just started my Charr thief which was collecting dust since start up, always wanted an Ash Legion assassin, and I got to say the AoE from the thief shortbow is pretty fun to play with in PvE. I will admit the short range, slower speed, and initiative reliance take a while to get used to, it is surprisingly fun, and I don’t have to worry about getting beatdown by a nerf because:
a) it’s not the dagger CnD or Backstab build,
and
b) I’m not spamming one button like Ranger SB and Heartseeker Thieves.
To be exact, I’m spamming 4>2>2>2 .

You make it sound like you’re having a devours. It’s just a profession, play whatever you think is fun. I don’t understand why people are putting so much emphasis on damage, though. There’s more to the game then that.
