I use this build to soften enemies up as much as possible at range – without using a bow – so that they are at 1/2 health or less by the time I close with a close range weapon (sword and dagger).

The off-hand training gives both Crippling Talon and Hunter’s Call 1,200 range – I’ve essentially got a two long range attacks, though I’m using melee weapons. The CD reduction is also amazing with Hunter’s Call for tons of burst DPS.

I wish Stalker’s Strike got some increased range from off-hand training as well, but it’s still great without it – because I traited for more damage while endurance is full (Steady Focus) I try to rely upon Stalker’s Strike, Serpent’s Strike, and Hornet Sting for dodges, though I grabbed a Sigil of Energy to quickly fill up endurance in the event that I do need to use a dodge roll.

I’m not completely set on the Pack runes, but I’ve been experimenting with different sets, from Mad Kings, to Pack, to Scholars – any suggestions would be helpful.

Would help a lot with you posted a link to your exact build. Its always nice looking through other peoples builds, especially power builds (I think), and will help others give comments/advice.

Hello,
I just took a quick look at it, but I find it weird that this seems to be a duelling build, but that you have no break stun…
Plus (not a big deal), you have a blast, a projectile and a jump finisher, but nothing in your build allows to take advantage of them…
You also have lots of poison alterations, but nothing to boost them, and (i believe) one staked alteration is easier to cleanse than many different alterations…

So, with your build, I’d more take fire trap, since you already have sword and dagger that deals poison damage, and it should be enough to reduce most foes healing, and the explosion in fire would give you more might.
I’d also change the owl for lightning reflexes, since it’s a break stun that gives an evade and grants vigor, which goes well with your full endurance trait.

I also see you have many in-combat swiftness sources, so I wonder whether keeping the signet for fighting is optimal (between fights, when walking the map, it’s good, though)

Ice is annoying for ennemies, so I think I’d tend to take that instead, but I’d adapt according to ennemy I expect (sick em if thief, breaks stun if war, damages if guard, signet of renewal if condi build (and change troll unguent for healing spring))…

As for runes, I always choose them according to what my weaknesses are. So I really cannot say whether the ones you chose are the best for your gameplay… I personnaly do not like the “5% chance to trigger the effect when you are hit”, because we do not have health to tank attacks to get the effect… and since the more life you have (staying over 90%) the stronger you hit, you want to avoid attacks / do all you can to not get hit… Plus, “grant nearby allies” for a build that seems designed for solo play…

I’d stick with Sigil of Earth to be honestly.. You have such rediculously high precion it seems almost a waste to then use sigils with have a 10s IDC.

Slightly less crit chance (down to 69%), lots more crit damage, and signet of stone instead of vipers nest – and sigil of blood instead of generosity for health stealing.
