So, I finally found time (and it took more than I expected…) to put together some footage I gathered in WvW. Enjoy!

I lol’d at the Punt off the Cliffs….fun watch! Nice to see another Longbow user who also happens to use Old School Rock (I used Led Zep haha)

On a side note the Quality is horrible and pixelized…might want to work on that for another Vid…

I really enjoyed the music. About the quality: change format. Even tho it’s 23min, it shouldn’t “weight” more than ~1GB.

Looks like it was scaled up from original Res…what res are you recording at? If you are recording Sub HD and Render 720P it will not improve the quality. Never render higher resolution than you record.

I’m total “noob” when it comes to those things. Firstly I made one with very good quality, but it was 60GB (.avi) so I converted it with some random program I found in google to .wmv with default settings. This way it took 1h to upload instead of estimated 120h xD
But yeah, quality sux. It took me whole weekend (had problems with crashin during rendering), so I decided to simply leave it as it is. Maybe I’ll play with it more some other time – now I don’t want to make any movies ever again :p

I use Fraps to record at native rez, then I just use Windows Movie maker to Edit…you will likely need to make a preset for your renders. Too much for my lazy kitten to type but if you PM me I will give you my Ventrillo and point you toward some easy to use free stuff to compile/Edit/Render in HD

Fun Vid. It’s a nice change of pace to see a vid on here of someone who is not playing a bunker in wvw! If you only ever read these forums you might believe that’s the only way to play.

Thanks Sarlack, but I think I’ll pass for now If I ever decide to try again, I’ll simply do my “homework” and google it before starting, not after ^^’

I used serveral builds in this time. From what I remember:

Soldier armor/ weapon and berserker jewelery, scholar runes, sigil of fire.
30/25/10/0/5
After quickness nerf 30/30/10/0/0

Atm I changed rings and trinkets to prec/power/tough (like knight, but prec is main stat) and build to 30/25/15/0/0

I changed traits, but the “must have” for me are: LB range, piercing, 10% dmg on full endurance, 20% reduced CDs on bow.

so u use no full berserker

How did your change of trinckets affected your gameplay ? Less damage and crit power really noticeable ?

Dmg on crits loss is noticeable (I lost like 40% crit dmg ), but I have more crit chance, esp when I use oil, and that gives me more sigil procs. In 1v1 I think I was better with berserker pieces, but toughness is a must for me now, as my guild started organized ZvZ, and I felt like free rally there.
