Guild Wars 2

So I was in sPVP getting my a** handed to me time and again by these two necros, one’s name was Mortis… Anyway, they would keep Fearing me, which sent me fleeing and then my skill timer would reset, all the while my health would quickly go south… at times they would use epidemic, or go into their ghost form with additional hps, and come out with more then they had going in…

Anyway, you get the idea… Nothing I did could stop them continually killing me. I don’t want to just have a build made to combat one class, I also want to give my guy the ability to have a chance against any class.

I figured a BM-focused DD build would give me a better chance with more condition removal, but I couldn’t find anything within the first 3 or so pages. I wanted something after the last patch so I didn’t go too far back..

In short… Any suggestions?

You need to get into a 1v1 duel server and get practice versus all forms of classes and builds , they ALL have attacks that are pinnacles to their success…avoid it and you shall prevail.

Firstly, beating two should be very difficult if they are good players. But as a necro main I can tell you their achilles heel… they have very little stability. Use pets and weapons that hard cc (knockback, stun, etc, not entangle or chills, dont use conditions on them) and they are your dogs breakfast.

Entangle > necro.

an example of how to kill necros;
Sword + Axe
heavy Melee DPS build, preferably celestial or zerker
Quickening Zephyr
Signetmastery + signet of stone

Pop stability (no more fear), run to them, drag em in with axe. Stab em to death with sword. Rinse and repeat.
