Q:
Devs, I’m not asking you to change the trait or do anything drastic. I just need to know is natural healing going to go back to healing the ranger as well? As of right now it doesn’t even heal my pet and it was a crucial part of my build. I don’t expect things to change over night, I just want to know if I need to change my build to find some other form of natural regen.

You will find no answers here, unfortunately. The devs don’t visit this forum. As it stands this trait currently does absolutely nothing sadly.
I looked at this trait after the patch it does heal the pet only it’s not 125 per second anymore and no healing to ranger it’s 125 every 3 seconds on pet only now it seems, wich of course makes it totally useless.
