Might wanna give it a bit for the quality to load up on it..
Any links to this build? I enjoyed the high survivability aspect here, as well as timing your melee rotations with your ranged ones with your pet. Do you feel that this could work with a power based build rather than condition damage? I know that the stats would be funky and probably the pet choice might need to change if your main source of damage is from direct hits.
As an ele main, that ele duo made me lol. One of them used signet of earth to immobilize you while the black ele with the fgs used FGS 4 + lightning flash to burst you down.
It’s a legit move, very fun to do. Just bring a stunbreak and avoid the obvious pool of fire and you should be fine.

Yea, I was honestly not expecting it…I was actually trying to figure out what was up with the weird graphic guy when it happened, then my health instantly dropped and I was like “WTF”
Now if I see Ele with Greatsword, I’m more cautious.
Mhm, but keep in mind that an ele with fgs on his own isn’t very dangerous. His whirl move is something to watch out for, so yeah, avoid walls. Pulling off a flash rush on his own is too hard, since summoning fgs takes a little bit of time after CCing in earth. There’s the possibility of the ele having signet of earth but it’s very unlikely (in general – ele’s specced for the fgs rush WILL bring it)
With a partner, though, is when you definitely should watch out for an ele with fgs, since any stupid ele would bring FGS and not just the ones prepared to rush you. As always, just one stunbreak ruins the combo and you can expect to not see it again for the rest of the fight.

A Necro who uses staff in a 1v1 ? (Ok for zergs but for 1v1 next to useless)
No fight with a perma-stun Warrior? (or the new meta s/s+lb cond warrior)?
A Elly who failed to clean your conditions with water atunement as soon as you applied them and seemed to be stuck in fire atunement?
A Thief who takes more that 2-3 hits to kill you and fails to land backstab.
I do agree you have great skill with the Ranger but roaming videos are not much fun if all you go against are chumps. (one Necro even fought you in the water!!! how much of a noob do you have to be to fight a Ranger under water)!

Necro’s will use staff 1v1, its incredibly powerful for conditions.
I’ve actually started running less into the Perma Stun Warriors since last patch and the change to the Sigil. Some of the previous videos though have fights with them.
I also was surprised that Necro ran into the Water as well, I think he was trying to get away from me as I was trying to kite him around and kill him.
Don’t get me wrong… you are an amazing player with the Ranger so no disrespect meant.
What I meant with staff on Necro is that (what I have found on my Cond Necro) staff/marks are great vs slower less mobile targets where the marks will have effect/hit (or against a stealth Thief). Against a very mobile player (like your Ranger) 90% of the marks will miss leaving you with a weak auto attack.
The fact that he didn’t change to Scepter/Dagger and throw your conditions back at you shows he was a poor cond Necro.
