Hey guys, so i havn’t done pvp in a while, been like 2 months and the last build i used was the spirit ranger. Can you guys give me a good strong spvp/tpvp build with runes/trinket etc… im looking to use the bow

Still Carrion/Forge Spirit ranger. 10/0/30/30/0. Sun Spirit, Stone Spirit, Signet of Renewal, Elite Spirit.

Against certain team comps, I’d say you’re better off running a Settler’s Amulet with a Carrion Jewel and Runes of the Undead. You don’t have to rely on the protection as much against direct damage comps, and direct damage comps are the new meta, so where Carrion helped counter the older, more condition heavy comps, right now, the game is filled with Pistol Whip Thieves and Hambow warriors, and it’s just easier at times to deal with them when you have your toughness investment.

While the spirit build is still Meta it is, in most peoples opinions, mind numbingly boring. If you want a more active higher skill build then you can go for Regen Ranger or the classic Beastmaster. The regen ranger is good for team fights and on point survival, but the Beastmaster ranger still trumps most people and is good at taking far points.

I reccomend the spirit build (especially for tourney). The classic one with storm spirit is still the best in my opinion. From time to time I go with this power spec:

it’s very offensive and you will die a lot, but it is very rewarding when played wisely. the 2 utilities I recommend to take are “quickening zephyr” and “signet of stone”, the third one is situational, “sick’em” or any other signet could work depending on your needs (I usually take signet of the hunt just to help me run away like a coward when I’m in trouble!!). I use sword/dagger over GS just for the evades and the poison but with this kind of spec I prefer to stay at max range and use the LB to deal most of the damage.
