Need constructive suggestions for runes/sigils.
Depends on what you are looking for. If it’s more damage you want then Sigil of Air is pretty good, another decent one is the health steal on crit for more survivability.
I can’t think of any specific runes atm since most for them you’ll be wanting their special abilities over the stats, but until you’ve discerned what you want I’d recommend something like Ruby/Beryl Orbs since they’re cheap and give comparable stat boosts to runes.

I’m looking at using Blood sigil on my greatsword for added melee staying power, and Fire for the aoe flame burst on my Longbow. As for runes, I’m looking to get 6/6 of the Pack runes, lots of power, a nice 100 precision at the end, and a 5% chance to apply might, fury and swiftness to nearby allies when you attack.
I’ll be running with a group of guildmates in WvW and we’re all looking to eventually have Of The Pack runes, so we can stack those buffs relatively easy to allow for easier domination.

You were given 2 varying answers, and I gave a pretty good explanation on my part. If you need more testing, go to the Mists and play around with the Runes and Sigils there. Moping on the forums won’t fix your problems.
Sigil of Frailty – no cooldown, can lay multiple stacks of vulnerability onto the target after crit. Pairs well with a Warhorn → hunters call. Shortbow equally good with it too.
