So bad, how hard is it to test things? Those would be so easy to test.

I did test. Did you read my post?

I was referring to ANet not testing.

Oh sorry. If you wanna test the MoC one please do. Its kinda iffy.
Can’t actually play right now, so I’ll have to let others do that, but this has been mentioned a couple of times before.
A sample size bigger than 10 would be a good place to start, time consuming to do a lot, but better data. Then screenshot the combat log so you can post it with evidence for ANet. I think actual evidence gets things done, whereas hyperbole and hearsay get ignored.
Can confirm by my own testing that Moment of Clarity & Remorseless does stack. Tests were conducted using [Maul] with Strength Runes + Cleric Amulet on a Light Golem.
Average damage with Remorseless & without Moment of Clarity: 3.4k
Average damage with Remorseless & Moment of Clarity: 5.3k
Can also confirm [Frost Trap] tooltip damage is correct. Frost Trap damage with the above setup read “729” on my tooltip. Each hit from Frost Trap ranged from 279-301.
Note for those that may not know – [Frost Trap] damage tooltip counts all 3 hits rather than each hit being said value.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.

Let me tell you why your tests are wrong.
1.) You cannot test MoC on a light golem, because you need to interrupt before you get the proc.
2.) You might be getting just the remorseless proc, as I have said it is iffy, the damage it gives you is not constant, assuming this is ideal situations, no might, no vuln.
3.) Whoever said that was the case for frost trap? I have never even see any clarification about this.
All multi hit functions the same way, Mesmer scepter 3 in full zerk hits for 2400 (6x) in the tooltip, it hits for way more than this.
Raven (f2) hits for 2310 (2x), this skill hits for 4k or sometimes 5k when it crits.
Traps can crit too.
PS: If you can, post the original values without Rem and MoC with Maul. and post if the data you have, with only MoC no rem, and only rem no MoC thanks!

You can just use Signet of the Hunt to proc the Attack of Opportunity that is applied by MoC.
So, just use that with dual GSs and skirmishing to be able to swap and gain Opening Strike, then use the signet to get the AoO.

You cannot use SoH, it only affects your pet.
1) You mentioned the damage portion of Moment of Clarity, which is Attack of Opportunity. Moment of Clarity is mostly tied to increasing the daze/stun duration. You can achieve Attack of Opportunity with Signet of the Hunt active.
2) Seems pretty consistent if you test with using a Signet to get Attack of Opportunity.
3) Many skill and utility tooltips displays the damage this way and does not weigh them as critical hits. Otherwise, every hit on my Barrage in my test setup should be hitting around 3k+ as a base 12×.
Also, birds on my setup read “(2x): 1156” – that seems pretty accurate seeing how their normal non-crit damage on a Light golem is around 700 for each hit, 640 on Med, and 540 on a Heavy.
Test your stuff again.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.

It applies active and passive bonus to both the pet and ranger.

When the NPE was added (September 2014) the old ‘Signet of the Beastmaster’ trait was retired, and the effects made baseline. Since that point, Ranger signets have effected the ranger and pet, not just the pet.
Table Warfare Miniatures - Armatures, Custom Miniatures, Moulds etc.
MoC + Remorseless Does not stack. Tried 10 attempts with maul.
Maul without MoC or Remorseless 4.8-5k against full glass
Maul with MoC + Remorseless 6k.6k only happened once. So it might not stack or it does but the numbers are wrong.
I didnt record. But ArrowSlanger can Confirm it
It works fine for me…
Uploading a sample video now
Edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=559kXKdL_-c
Clear as day, 8k vs 5k, 7k vs 5k
Its even more noticeable when you start stacking other multipliers, such as signet of the wild, or frost spirit.
I Play WvW to have fun. I don’t find it fun anymore. Therefore I don’t play.

Hmm I never get 8k numbers when I use it in a match, just the regular Hilt bash interrupt Maul one.
Granted I haven’t tried SoH yet. Maybe its the GS is thats bugged haha.
What about wonderwall was saying about the multi hit skills?
the bird f2 if you ever experienced it hitting for 4k, but tooltip says otherwise. So that was how I am going for the frost trap damage.

Highest I’ve hit in a spvp match is 12k. Higher hits are only really common vs glass builds. A lot of people run cele/tanky setups which makes it harder to hit these numbers. You also have to be glass to hit that high.

What wonderwall is saying is that both the pet and the ranger get the attack of opportunity multiplier.
The 4k your seeing from the bird is caused by a collection of multipliers one of them more than likely being crit damage another could be the attack of opportunity buff from MoC. Anything that is a % increase is always a multiplier that increases an attack.
Tool tips are always wrong because they are your skill damage with fixed amount of armor (2500 pretty sure). They also do not show any multipliers affecting them be it, sigil of force, runes of the scholar , crit damage % or signet of the wild.
The tool tip shows
Damage = Weapon strength * Power * Skill coefficient / Armor
vs the reality of
Damage = (Skill raw damage * Positive multipliers) / (Armor * Negative multipliers)
Skill raw damage is the tooltip equation without the divide by armor portion.
Hope this helps.

So traps should scale with crit damage too right?
Just to clarify, you hit 12k with MoC right? not the SoH one.

So traps should scale with crit damage too right?
Yes it would, butI am unsure if moment of clarity applies to traps. I am pretty sure it doesn’t because utilities are not considered an attack.
Attack of opportunity and opening strike both do, but they only apply on the first hit.

SoH + SoW + Remorseless proc on maul.

So how come, frost trap deals pitiful damage, if it scales with power and crit damage., and tooltip is so misleading.
If it did 700 per pulse that would be great, like wells or something/

Because Frost Trap has a only 0.3525 skill coefficient. You can try to boost it with other multipliers but because the base is low, its very difficult to get the damage to go up in a meaningful way. That and we have few static multipliers(predators onslaught, steady focus).
It would be nice if frost trap was a little more meaningful in damage, but its more of a utility trap.
