Natural Stride
For 8 seconds, move 50% faster and gain a 75% chance to block incoming attacks.
Removes Cripple, Chill, and Immobilize.

  • 50 second cooldown
  • Survival Utility
  • Natural Stride is not affected by swiftness.

Edit: No longer affected by swiftness. Movement buff increased to 50%. Duration decreased to 8 seconds.

I was a power ranger before it was cool.

I used to use that skill in GW1 in my axe build for DoA.

For an elite, it would be at least 90s cooldown and also be affected by swiftness would be too much, specially in WvW, but the overall idea is nice.

Not necisarily, there’s plenty of 60s CD elite skills, some of which can be traited to be shorter CDs than that.

This idea is similar to the one I was talking to Jcbroe about.

Escape:
100% movement speed
50% damage reduction
Gain X health every second
Lasts 10s

Ends if you attack

That’s an awfully high uptime. It’s effectively a little higher than 10% invulnerability. The 50% speed boost make its even higher as no melee player can do much to you (and a lot of AoE and ranged attacks would miss.)

There is a roughly zero percent chance of that being implemented.
