My Ranger Build
So I just started a Ranger to try it out and the above build is what I’m currently using for sPvP. My preferred play style is melee combat with high crit attacks using evades for survival. So quick questions:

• Would a Sword/Axe be a better option than Greatsword?

• Would it be worth it to withdraw any current trait investments I have to invest into Beastmastery line?

• Would any other pets be better than my current choices (Raven/Wolf)?

So I have my answer regarding to BM trait line from another thread, still wondering about my other questions though.

I’ve solo roamed with my ranger for a long time but only started pvping in the past month so I can’t give you expert advice or anything but imho
1. S/d is better in fair duels, but the spike damage from Moment of clarity GS is more suitable to your role as a dpser so I’d keep GS.
3. try jaguar/wolf for a while and see if you like it. I’ve seen top level rangers even use drakes because drakes have a suprising amount of burst with tail swipe, and their f2. (though it takes practice to land f2 consistently).
