Since ranger has so many tools a little nerf on shortbow is not enough for an OP class like ranger to be down into low tier classes, broken class is always broken, let me introduce a brand new future mainstream ranger build———Army Ranger!
With the following build you can create an army of 7(including yourself)running around in PVE sPVP WvW to provide insane buff to your group and intimidating your opponents by largely outnumber them and make them lose courage and hope.
Although I personally do not want to post this on the forum, cuz this will result in a huge nerf on spirits, pet and the elite kitty size so they wont scary the enemy to death. I still think it is the best choice to share this build with my fellow brother rangers at this time that a small group of us feel hopeless and want to change to other classes. This showing that ranger is a class with unlimited possibility.
Traits are 0/0/10/30/30 : ) enjoy the whole new world of ranger experience.

I think if you post about how long your spirits last in aoe, some other classes might get nerfed instead.
