add a #1 auto of sort to that and got the making of a Ranger “Warden” staff weapon =)
id rather see an overhaul of current abilities. most lack creativity, utility, and good design. unlike most other professions, the ranger just feels unfinished. almost every weapon skill and almost every utility feel half done, and our class mechanic was tacked on last minute.
i want skill ranger can use to hide underground like devouter does when any other class approach to him in www

Skill name: “See how it feels?”
Effect: Currently equipped sword reverses roles and starts wielding the ranger to chain auto-attacks on target, as well as inflicting additional confusion stacks. Damage scales according to ranger’s current Armor value. As soon as the sword gets hit by cc/damage that it couldn’t dodge since it was rooted while attacking, sword gets downed and ranger spams the /laugh emote.

Moar Spirits:
After you burn about 1 million braincells pressing 111111111 in Shortbow (wait, didnt the “animation glitch fix” supposed to fix this?) a new signet appears.
Signet passive: everytime you autoattack with Shortbow you have a chance to summon a random spirit, it will do nothing but it would be beautifull
Signet active: A Dev appears and thinks that Longbow dmg is too much, so every dmg you do with Longbow is reduced by 50%..

Or you put down your(crappy) weapons and beat the crap of your opponent with Bear gloves. Every attack uses the maul effect.

1. Danger Signet: Passive: Ranger can detect invisible foes and target them. Active: Breaks the stealth of detected target for 10 seconds making the target glow brightly for allies to target.
2. Canine pets can sense invisible foes and target them. With Signet of the Beastmaster equipped the ranger can as well.

I don’t think ranger needs new skills, what it does need is better synergy between pets and traits, rearrangement/merger of taits, and maybe some new one related to our pets dying. Like 50% increased crit chance for 10-15s when our pet is dead with a 60s cooldown would be nice in the beastmaster line, would be a nice boost to cleric builds. Since our pet AI won’t get any better soon, and fiddling with pet stats got us a nerf anyway, we should get something out of our pets being unavailable due to design decisions. We could have 2 grandmaster traits with almost opposite effect. Master’s vengance (increased crit chance while pet is dead, 60s ICD), and Beastmaster’s prowess, your pet gains stats on kill that stacks to 25, it is removed when the ranger is downed. Natural healing and Quickening zephir become mastr traits. Then you can merge rending and intimidation training, and vigorous and stability training.

Ranger needs the Refund Skill
Once activated all the gold you ever spent on your ranger will be transfered to a different character and your ranger character will be deleted.
I would love to see more GW1 skills like :
1)Predator Bond – Shout, gain health whenever your pet makes a successful attack ( 10s-icd 60+s)
2)Serpent’s quickness – Elite Survival, your skill recharge 33% faster ( 20s-icd 120s )
3)Throw dirt – Survival, inflicts AoE blindness ( 3s-icd 10s )
4) Frozen soil – Spirit, foes cannot activate resurrection skills ( 60s-icd 20s )
