Guild Wars 2

This is just something I wanted to do for a bit and I feel like I would like to see these particular pets be added into the core game. I don’t expect any of the devs to read this and go “hey, we have some spare time. Let’s implement these” but if it happens, great! Here we go:

Osprey: a typical bird of prey with the same skill set as any other bird but their special ability inflicts confusion.

Green Moa: it was originally meant to be added but was dropped, which I find strange. Regardless, it’s special ability could be “Mighty screech” or “Furious screech” and make it an offensive buff.

Dolphin: quite a few people have asked for more aquatic pets a while back and I see quite a few of these happy critters swimming around wishing I could tame one. They have skills that we can use in the fractals, so why not implement some of those skills over to a juvenile version. Maybe it can be a glass cannon or agile support pet that can call upon other dolphins to aid, like Hyenas do on land (speaking of which why do they look so diseased? Why are there no healthy Hyenas?).

This is all I got at the moment. What do you guys think? Are there any pets you would like to see implemented into the core game? What animals are you hoping to see as pets in the next expansion? I am really hoping that lions/lionesses and crocodiles Become tameable pets in the next xpac!

There are a lot of canfidates:
Skaal, skelk, windriders, desert devourer, golden moa etc.

I would love to see all of them in the game but first i would like that they improve on the core pets and rebalance them, especcially the CD of the abbilities and the cast times.

I would love a dolphin pet!

Give me a Dolyak and/or a cow and Bull

I’d love a pet griffon. Dolphin would be cool as well.

Yeah, I’d be down for those pets – Osprey, Dolphin, and Green Moa.

Add in an Arid Devourer with an F2 that fires short-ranged darts that knock back like the ones found in the Silverwastes. Would make a great additional CC pet.

The return of the Golden Moa with an F2 screech that grants vigor to allies and a Plated Behemoth for another Ursine (Bear) that has an F2 roar that taunts foes.

I’d prefer they use their time to adjust the pets we already have, a few tweeks here and there and we’d have a lot more viable ones. An adjustment on the cast times of skills etc.

Just removing the cast time from Quickening Screech (Screech being a shout?) and changing the boon to something useful (like Quickness, coz “Quickening Screech”) would Make Birds Great Again.

That said, any of these suggestions would be pretty cool. Instead of an Osprey, can we get a massive Golden Eagle?

Griffon pet for daayyyssss. I mean there are so many beautiful options out there – Dolphin is not one that I had taken into consideration since I already have my chomp chomp shark. Behemoth would be cool (could be something to serve a purpose akin to bear), Skale or skelks (condi?), Karka’s possibly down the line when we have something to do with bubbles the underwater elder?
