It bugs to no end that Ranger team added new pets but did not fix the ability to save the names of the pets we swap out. I think that a good number of Rangers out there ask a begged the Ranger team to fix this.

Understand this im a light to medium rper that have not change my pets out sonce launch because the name will not save. My companions is iconic and apart of my character and without the ability to save there names i can’t enjoy having more companions

Just write your pet names on a sticky note and leave it by your desk like I do. I can easily keep track of the names of all my relevant pets and just take three seconds to type in the name upon switching it out.

Another trick. If you use amphibious pets you can have two for aquatic use. These will automatically apply their names to the equivalent land pet no matter how many times you swap them out. I do this for my main drakes so I never lose their names while playing with other pets.

Yea 4 pet names are more then enough mate, if your a roleplayer and the ones you roleplay with cant stand you calling your cat charlie when it says juvenile panther aint good roleplayers mate
