Guild Wars 2

Hello guys!

I played like 2 months after release and then ragequit, now I am back to GW2, obviously forgot everything so I decided to buy a new account and start new as a ranger!

I am looking for some advice on a pve optimized build to level up and do some basic dungeon running and stuffs. I love pets, I have the Hall of Monuments fully unlocked so would be nice to fill that awesome spider somewhere! Hahahaha

Greetings from Seafarer’s Rest [EU]. I have been playing as ranger since guild wars beta. I will gladly help you out with the ranger. I have few good newbie build to get you started towards right direction. As well I can train you to become “power ranger” which are rare in Guild Wars 2.

Few tips is that when leveling get power, precession, and ferocity on leveling equipment. If your gear falls behind your lvl, go to the trade post to buy armor for 3s a piece.

As for skills/pets/weapons. Go quickening zephyr, sic em, signet of the hunt for movement speed. Change signet for either signet of survival or a flame trap for extra aoe for clearing hearts. Best pets for pve, hands down, are cats and drakes. Always have lightning drake for the 30s op aoe. As for weapons, I suggest gs with shortbow/sword,torch/shortbow, or switch shortbow out with longbow for areas where you need the aoe.

Stick to Meele. It is faster regarding dps, switch to range to close distance or kite or longbow 5, then quickly switch back.
