Meaning we’ll get hit kitten the 1st of October. I know, don’t be so negative beforehand, but well…let’s just say I’ve really gotten tired to all the unnecessary changes across the board for Rangers caused by sPvP.

Actually, we’re in the best spot we could possibly be because there’s nothing really left to hit other than nerfing spirits even further.

In that same thread, in the screenshot, its quoted as having some “big QoL changes on oct 1.” That seems pretty exciting to me, as it’s bound to affect one of my 5 classes positively.

Traps are already more useless than Engis and Necros options, and our own offhand dagger and torch have the same effects as our traps (except Frost trap, and it’s only better than axe 3 traited) on a lower cooldown. The only good thing about traps are their AoE, but that’s really where it ends. So it isn’t like the build could be made any less viable, since currently, it’s really only good for tagging enemies in PvE/WvW and possible niche dungeon circumstances.

Granted, it’s some of the best AoE we have, so of course it would hurt if they got worse, but really, they can’t get much worse than they already are.

Well, that could almost be interpreted as good news for rangers, because god knows we’ve got more outstanding QoL issues than most of the other classes combined.

You all have it wrong.

They’ll just do something sweeping like doubling the effectiveness of all condition removal skills, or reducing condition damage by 20% across the board to scale down necros and engis.

Rangers wont be mentioned.

I highly doubt this will be the case… the best way they can fix this is to boost up condi removal and team condi removal (more important than the former).

Well spirits were buffed in WvW and most PvE fights with that last one… And were hardly scathed in PvP(STILL a very strong build, just have to be smarter about when you summon your spirits).

Not to mention they like to make sure every prof but ele and ranger are in good standing so they’re not gonna blanket nerf condis but buff everyone’s condi removal and prolly return empathetic bond to all condis…. To the pet… Killing it instantly….
