Why is there no turtles in this game for a ranger, there is already a risen turtle model. How come did this not make it into the ranger pets. I really would love to see a tanky turtle pet

hmm never even considered this probably cause we have so many choices but yep no turtle not sure i am bothered by this , but ya does seem odd since basically the entire animal kingdom is represented.

I vote for a sea turtle at least!

I’d love to see a turtle with Guardian-like skills. Reflect projectiles etc. xD

I was disappointed too. Was hoping for an “amphibious” turtle pet!

First content patch!

I’d love to see more pet options with the next major content patch/expac. But I’m not sure we will, only because pets are our core profession mechanic. If we get more pet options with more utility variety, Anet would have to add to every other profession’s core mechanic. We wouldn’t want reskins, we’d want brand new pets right? With new skill sets? I know I would. And then what? Guardians get a 4th virtue? Thieves double-steal? 4 tier burst for Warrior? I dunno guys, I’d love to see more pets as much as the next Ranger-lover.

We have a choice of 39 animals based on land, and 20 based in water, now yes some of those are exclusive to their terrain and others are amphibious. I don’t think it unreasonable to add 1 more underwater pet considering the model is already there for the pet, they just need to make it look a little less undead.

Can’t wait to have my very own Donatello.
