Guild Wars 2

I played Druid in beta and didn’t really care for it. So just wondering if anyone played beta and kept base ranger and rocked a power or condi build with any success and were we could fit into raids just being a ranger.

The core ranger is a pretty selfish class unless you’re going for the already-current-meta of spirits + spotter, and quite frankly, I think spirits are boring.

I guess you could run sinister or rabid axe/torch build and be part of the condi team in raids.

Id like spirits to get turned into Wisps.

Ranger won’t be allowed in raids at all, only chance you have to play as one is if your guild have a “pity spot” in the party and then you can kinda build as you want.
Ranger had a hard time to find a role that others couldn’t do better and in raids you’ll also be competing with elite specs, so … my opinion is just build for something like the sinister meta build, at least we are among the top 3 cond builds in the game even after the expansion.
