Doing some zerg on zerg in WvW tonight and of course the size of the zergs was to the point where you send pet in and it dies in less time than the swap cd and calling it back is useless since to have it go in to actually hit the target just once, it is already committed and won’t survive the return trip.
So I switched to pets that give boons. Fern hound for the regen (I use troll unguent so it’s sometimes nice to stack both) and the jungle stalker for the might. I then switched to passive mode.
The problem is that when you are attacking a target and tell the pet to do the F2, it will attack the target. Sure, most times it will do it after it does the ability but sometimes the pet will run off to attack first before using it.
Unless the F2 depends on a target (eg. the pounce for Lynx and Snow Leopard) it should not equal the F1 command.
