Okay, who did this?
nah, they deserve this and more, hope the ratings tank. The only reason GW2 still popular is because there isnt much competition to be honest. Games like archage to mention one became/is P2W, others like FF14 have a monthly subscription, not that is bad but some people don’t like the subs, same with WoW (plus is old as f… who plays that in 2015 lol) so the only option around is GW2. That an ESO but i dunno much about it, i suppose it didn’t live up to its hype since i don’t hear much from it so.
As paying customers, they have the right to voice their displeasure on a review site. Not saying I agree with the reasoning, but again they have the right to do such.
Instead of asking a customer to delete their negative review, I’d be more inclined to ask ANet to fix the class and stop with the nonstop nerfs to it.
But maybe that’s just me.
I didn’t, but it’s actually a good idea! Thanks. I might do it too.
It’s dumb, undeserved… but so are most of the druid nerfs.
Pirate Chips [LAYS] – Server Hopping (EU)
me for example, i bough the expansion for the druid, i bough it a week later after release. Seen all those druids around and stuff and me not been able to roll druid made me buy it and believe even tho i am in bad economic shape i took those 50 dollars and buy the expansion. This horrendous nerf make druid almost unplayable if not fully, so what should i do now if i don’t enjoy it? So i can understand the guy, some people just want to play a ranger/druid, i have other classes but meeeh, revenant is the one i like probably second to ranger but still i want to play my ranger, this change, i dont even know what to do because it just feel wrong. So like i said i can understand the guy that wrote that low review, for him it might make the game unplayable.
Do you even know a single person that bases their gaming purchases on metacritic?
Save the Bell Choir activity!

you would be surprise, lot of people look out for reviews online and such for there purchase. Even 1-2 customers that anet lose is a big deal. Look for example how simcity and all the bad reviews on amazon caused panic in EA. There were other cases were bad reviews caused big effects on sales i suppose. I often buy games like fallout 4 without seen reviews because i know bethesta will deliver almost 99.9 percent guaranteed lol but for others i dont know much about i do look.
You mean people aren’t allowed to express their dissatisfaction?
Sorry, but this is what happens when you outright ignore your community.
Sadly those reviews are the only reviews that will pushing developers for not communicating with us, to wake them up from eternal silence and stop them from ruining their own game. But until then, those reviews are legit, and don’t take me wrong, anet deserves it, ever since GW1, every thing just went down the road. Shame.
If somebody is unhappy with the game, it is their prerogative to post a bad review, no matter what you feel on the matter.
Camelot Unchained can’t come soon enough. At least that will give the WvW players something to do. PvE – I’d suggest just go back to WoW and be done with it. GW2 had huge potential but somewhere along the long totally lost focus.

heard lot of good stuff about that game and specially the wvw part which is the thing i liked most when i heard first of GW2 when it was going to release, sadly we all know how that turned out to be and the state it currently is. Yea GW2 is a great game, had potential but sadly i dunno if its the dev and there ineptitude or what but meeeh sometimes is a pain.
I don’t necessarily agree with using metcritic to bomb reviews of game like this, however I can understand why especially in the case of Druid balance.
This isn’t the first time there’s been a knee jerk change to the way AF is generated, which is the heart of this elite spec, it’s a massive change. Whilst I don’t expect the Devs to be posting constantly and spending hours discussing skill balance with players on the forums like some people do seem to expect, I would expect some communication about why a drastic change to the core of an elite spec was being made.
Absolute silence on the part of ANet on subjects import to their player base seems to be par for the course though.
15 seconds of combat/healing WITH only staff, and still could not get AF to charge fully. Is this really what’s intended? Why have healers when you tune them so that they can’t actually use their healing mode? With staff, AF generation was okay before. but now? I have to call this broken.
I normally would agree with the OP on issues like this if it wasn’t for the fact that I also want to bash Anet in frustration.
So many promises and boasting of things to be delivered in HoT, only for us to find that it was all just empty promises. A healing elite that breaks the mold? That got me excited to play Druid pre-HoT but it was apparent from day one that the elite was VERY raw/betaish in its core design (AF/CAF mechanics). Not to mention there was no hint of an infrastructure in place to support said healing build. How much money did Anet make by hyping things that were NEVER going to see the light of day at HoT release?
Yeah, I do feel like I was taken for a ride because I trusted Anet to deliver on their promises. Props to Anet’s visual design team because the game is visually gorgeous (for a 3 year old game) but the people in charge of Ranger mechanics are clueless.
Anet used to have a reputation similar to Blizzard before they turned all greedy/corporate. (They both used to be companies that gamers could trust to put out quality games.) Now it seems Anet is following Blizzard’s footsteps and just going for money grabs instead of focusing on quality releases. The game looks good on the surface but once you start digging, you see how rushed/unfinished lots of things are in the game. Anet is trying to bite off more than it can chew or their standards have gone down a lot.
