Wiki is devoid of coefficients for ranger pets.

Has any testing been done for both ranger pet coefficients and their weapon damage used for calculations? If so, does anyone have a link for known pet coefficients and weapon stats?

You could do a rough linear approximation if the pet panel data is correct. Check pet damage with 0-6 points in BM and fit the points to a line. This is assuming the panel is accurate though I vaguely recall that it scales off the ranger’s stats so it might not work and you’d be left with doing it the old fashion way.

I don’t think anyone has actually recorded the data and then gone through it like frifox has done with Mesmer weapon skills and phantasms.

If you were to do it, I’d suggest

• do minimum 100 attacks per “session”
• for each pet family, do a “session” for 0pts in BM and for 6pts in BM … if you want to be really thorough, throw in sessions for pt amounts in between 0 and 6.

If you really want to do this though, I’d recommend waiting until after the upcoming big specialization, etc. changes as it will be a decent amount of work involved and you don’t want it to go to waste in the event that several things change related to what you just finished testing.

Thankfully, after the changes, there will be no other points to add in, it will be “With BM” and “Without BM” Well, maybe not, there will be other points to add such as testing without BM, but with Fortifying Bond on and 25 might on the pet. But it will be better after the changes to test imo.
