So, these two traits together seem to have synergy, but it is pretty terrible. They should work far better than they currently do.
Predator’s Instinct – a 30s CD for a 10s cripple is just bad, having the target needing to be under 50% health is just terrible. This trait needs to be able to maintain constant cripple on a player with no condi cleanse or -% condi duration. My justification for that is movement skills and teleports ignore cripple and there is loads of -% condi duration for cripple; Mesmer gets -25%, Warrior gets -33%, Necro gets -33/66%, Thief has -50%, Ele has -33% as well as the Lucid Singularity trait which gives total immunity. Engineer gets -33% too as well as Transmute. The only class without -% to movement condi is guard.
So, worst case scenario, an Adept trait with a 30s CD and 50% health requirement can have no effect whatsoever on an Ele, on an engineer it can benefit them, or last for 3.3s on a Reaper. It literally is pointless taking this trait.
Predator’s Onslaught – Due to all these things, I believe Predator’s Onslaught should also have at least +20% duration to movement debuffs, because a minor or adept trait should not counter a GM.
PI and PO should be either merged and create another Adept trait that cripples on crit or modified to give a good benefit.
