Pet Consumables
I actually like this idea.
Me too, been thinking about this for a while. There is a trait that allows pet to share boons with the ranger, but consumables are a no no for now. Would be great to see this ^^

It’s the same thing with our amor and agony resistance. It’s absolutely ridiculous that pets are a liability to our damage/armor.
While the pet should be an integral part to your playstyle and it is part of the profession, you are still the player, the actual ranger. You are a team and a unit, but you are still separate characters. We have our stats, they have theirs. It would be nice, but I don’t think it is necessary because it’s otherwise unfair to our stats. Concurring opinion, because I think it would add more management ability to the pet, which would be nice.
I can’t imagine this ever making its way into the game. It’s a great idea, but I don’t think Anet really has the resources in their live team to make changes like this.
I think I’d rather feed the pet it’s own piece of food.
I can’t tell you how far throwing a pie at my pet would go towards fixing all that ails me in dungeons.
And honestly, I think there’s more fascinating customization options in feeding a pet some food than all our pet-related traits combined.

Whoa, we share resistances and stuff with our pets? That doesn’t sound good. Yeah, pets are an essential part of being a ranger, but they seem to be a massive drain on our resources at the moment. Are there any plans for buffing them?
You also have to consider that consumables can’t be used in sPvP, and that’s really all Anet cares about with regard to balance.
