Guild Wars 2

Let’s say my Alpine Wolf is level 46 and my Black Bear is level 44.

I put both animals in storage and pull out two other animals. After a short time I go back to my original animals and I find that both are now level 1 again.

Is this supposed to happen? Or are the pets supposed to stay at whatever level they were when stored?

Tried searching the forums for an answer, but got nowhere.

Your pet level is your level. It will change with the zone just like your level does.
