Q:
Pet Swap cool down time
If there was no CD on pet swap our pets would be immortals.
Imagine that you have jaguar and lynx, and wherever a pet gets low HP you just swap to the pet with full health, it would be kinda OP.

Thanks for the reply Bardy, it does make sense not to allow your nearly dead pets to be continually swapped out during combat and I agree, they would be rather overpowered… However, I wasn’t very clear in my original post so I still have my question, sorry about that.
I was wondering about the CD time on when you are not in combat and go into Pet Management using the “K” key and there is a CD preventing you from changing you pet line up.
It appears to be not overly long, but I have no idea what the cool down time is, so hoping someone might know?
Thanks again
Hope this is what you were looking for.
I don’t think there is a CD on pet swap when out of combat, but I remember that a while ago there was and the reason was that rangers could stack boons before a fight, the trick was to get something like a red moa and a lynx for example, then use the F2 skill swap use F2 and keep doing it to stack fury and might in this example, later the devs made the F2 CD not reset on pet swap so the out of combat CD was not necessary anymore.
EDIT: Probably when you change your pet in the “K” menu the F2 CD resets and that is why the CD is needed.
