Guild Wars 2

This rarely happens to my pet, but sometimes my pet ends up dead like unressurectable npcs. This isn’t that big of a problem because I can swap it easily, but it does mess up my cooldown, since I can’t wait for it to rally itself.

This has occured once in CoF with the rolling instakill boulder things
Once in WvW at the bottom of a set of stairs in Stonemist with an Npc standing over it, not sure if that caused it.

That’s happened to me before as well. I find it more funny than anything, as it’s not something you expect at all.

You can make it happen if you take the safe fall trait (half damage from falls). Your pet does not get damage from the trait. So if you fall far enough that it would normally kill you, you survive but the pet dies (as in leaves a corpse dies).
