Pet choice questions
Hi, Adrian thanks for asking about the cats – feline family they only buff " Maul" 20s-16s CD nothing changed anyway…… Smokescale does more for reaching in Pvp and PVE cats it better imo Smokescale are useless nothing to offer my much in PvE encounters. Drake family has been buff some dmg increase and CD it’s good PvE you can try and spider for conditions poison 1s-4s xddddd……
For, Moa family they reduce all Cd and make scream now 1/4 s cast rather 1s to execution faster for it and moa some parts increase…. Wolf it good now for crippling and charge reduce Cd like pig with forage…
Yeah, the Pink and Black Moas are different. Statistically, you want the Pink Moa. Faster F2 cast time (by 2 seconds) with a ½s higher daze duration each pulse than the Black Moa’s F2.
Below is the most recent update on pet DPS. Numbers don’t include the recent updates, but the shorter cooldowns on some pets should only raise their DPS by a small amount.

No DPS numbers on moving targets though. There was an old thread that had test results, but Moas were not included.
Will update once Path of Fire releases.

Ty…looking at it seems pretty spot-on still from what I’ve seen playing w/ the different pets.
What about river drake and jungle spider in both PvP and PvE, are they strong now?
As soon as there’s a possibility for cleave damage, drakes beat all the rest by a lot (they are also the best pet for landing a single burst attack if you manage – opening strike boosted with SotW and Attack of Opportunity landing a Tail Swipe = sweat numbers).
So, it’s all situational.
