Pet combat log & Pet condition damage
Save the Bell Choir activity!
I’ve tested that it does not affect the pet with the runes u apply. I’m running full condition ranger in wvw and I can do like 120bleed per stack. But my pet can only do 40-50 bleed damage that are applied by it. Besides, all stat of pet is always staying the same whatever the gear u are wearing. Signet is another case tho. Is this helpful to you?
1. There isn’t
2. Pet’s do not scale at all with your damage. When you mouse over a pet ability’s tooltip it will appear to scale with your condition damage or power, but it does not.
Doh. Thanks for the answer folks. Not the ones i was hoping for, but at least it’s pretty clear now. On the good side, that means i don’t have to bother with pet-dedicated gear.
As for no combat log for the pet, wow, just wow. I really thought i was missing something somewhere. Here’s hoping it’ll come sooner than later…

this is what the traits are for. on wiki the other day i read the increased pet duration bonus is 50% i think it was, and the pet condition damage bonus is 30%. I don’t think these bonus’ show up in the pet stat screen when you pick them though, a bug.
Yea, traits are really the only way to beef up your pet’s damage. I posted a bit of a comparison between pet damage with 10 in BM and damage with 30 BM that might help give you some perspective (https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/ranger/Ranger-Pet-DPS-Comparison/), but if you invest in things like 30% crit damage for pets or additional condition damage by pets, you’ll see an even bigger difference.
Whole purpose of GW2 UI is to provide just enough info that they can get away with and still keep stuff hidden so less bugs are discovered by the players. Why eles would they not have Seconds in timestamp or a way to log to text file.
