It’s far too short. Before, I could range the frontlines of a zerg and have my pet sick the seige in the back. This is no longer possible. It’s also more difficult to have the pet run around and attack when sitting on seige. A split in pet leash range is sorely needed.

Would love to see it back to what it was before too. They can’t scale walls anymore, they can’t rez people anymore, if they can’t hunt far away from us anymore, they have just turned into occasional additional dps.

Here’s hoping for a split and reversal of that range for pve/wvw.

This is my biggest complaint with the “balance” to be honest. The pet damage I can get over, I never put more then five points in that tree anyway. The short bow range decrease also doesn’t bother me. But I always sent my pet in first as a distraction tactic, now I guess we adjust. Wish they would increase the range back though they can keep the damage as it currently is.

Ya. I agree. Its already too easy for people to get out of combat. Let the pet in wvw be free.

Agreed. More spvp silliness creeping into the other modes for no reason.

Can’t even use pets to hit open field AC/Cata now.
