Pet swap->stomp
This is an old animation bug. Basically if you quickness runs out when stomping the animation does not slow down. The stomp does actually speed up though. Just dont move until you see the flag drop.

Could just be abit of lag or if he rallys during the stomp your character will always finish the entire animation unless you cancel it manually
Well I see the progress bar still has about 25% left after the animation finishes. I’m just wondering if the stomp is still faster, or i’m wasting my time swapping pets.

I haven’t really timed it, but it feels faster. When executed correctly, I’m able to stomp guardians before they use their AoE knockdown.
You can test this yourself via the class npcs in the mists Try a normal stomp and a quickness stomp.

It’s faster, you need to make sure to stand still after the animation finishes though. Not nearly as fast as it used to be.
If you can turn this into a Q/A because here is your answer:
Pet swap quickness stomp is not faster than a normal stomp. The animation is faster but there is a delay after the stomp which makes it the same speed as a normal stomp.
You MUST have quickness for the full duration of the stomp for the stomp to be accomplished faster.
Ex: Guy 1 with rabbit finisher initiates a stomp. Guy 2 starts to stomp 0.1 seconds after but does so with quickness from pet swap. Which finisher appears? The rabbit.
Guy 1 again stomps a target but Guy 2 activates QZ and goes for the stomp 0.1 seconds after Guy 1. Which finisher appears? The normal finisher.
Am I good?… I’m good.
